What to do when a product link changes

External listings can be edited, restricted or removed. First reopen the FansSheets source listing, then compare the destination product identity rather than relying on an HTTP success screen.

Three different problems

An unavailable source means the original evidence has gone. A blocked check means the page could not be inspected from a particular network. An agent sign-in screen means access is required, not that the item was verified.

Stop when identity does not match

Do not substitute a guessed URL. Return to search or choose another source-backed find. Final availability always belongs to the external platform.
